Drug and Alcohol Testing

Drug Screen Compliance partners with several DOT testing consortiums and offers many training classes to keep your company and employees in compliance with DOT, whether it's industry or company mandated. Aside from our DOT drug test program, we also have the Designated Employer Rep (DER) and Supervisor Awareness training. We also provide classes on all the different types of drug or alcohol tests that can be collected, including rapid or POCT (Point of Collection Testing) collections. The DOT drug test procedures we conduct are fast and reliable, so you can rest assured you will get accurate results quickly.

DOT clients will need to comply with CFR Part 40 382.603 and 382.307.

Each employer shall ensure that all persons designated to supervise drivers receive enough training. At least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and receive at least an additional 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use are needed. The training will be used by the supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo testing under §382.307. The training shall include the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. Recurrent training for supervisory personnel is not required.

This specific guideline states that the DER will need to be able to determine when Reasonable Suspicion testing should be conducted. Our training program are supervised by substance abuse professionals. The SAP program gives the DER the tools they need to administer their company's Drug Testing Program according to DOT regulations.
